FAQs

Our Heffner service department offers 2 options for the convenience of our guests. We have an oil change lane, that works on a first-come first-serve basis. At your convenience you can pull up during its hours of operation and have your oil change service performed as you wait. (Monday 7:00am-5:00pm; Tues-Thurs 7:00am-12:00pm; Friday 7:00am-9:00pm; Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm; Sunday Closed) Or you can also call into our appointment coordinators and schedule an appointment for your oil change service that will also be performed as you wait, but allows you to avoid any potential lineups in the oil change lane. (519) 748-9667 option 1)

Vehicle maintenance is based on time or mileage, whichever comes first. We have provided a link to Toyota Canada’s maintenance menu site, which will allow you to select your vehicle and its current mileage, and this will show what your vehicle is currently due for. Our Toyota service department also prints and provides a copy of this menu at every service visit to each service guest, as another reminder of the next service due. You can also contact our appointment coordinators by email; on line; or by calling and they would be happy to assist you with reviewing your vehicle’s next service.

We take all types, makes and models of vehicles in on trade, even motorcycles!

No we are a full line Toyota dealership selling new Toyota, Scion and Lexus vehicles, and we sell them used of course. But we sell all makes and models of vehicles used and we service and clean them as well!

If you've got winter tires on your vehicles front/rear wheels and all seasons on the back/front, your front/rear tires will stick while your back tires will slide – and your car could spin right off the road. The rubber in all-season tires starts to get hard, like a hockey puck, at around 7* C. Hard rubber does not stick to roads. The rubber in winter tires stays softer at lower temperatures, giving them better traction and shorter braking distances than all seasons when it's cold. There does not have to be snow on the road to reap the benefits of a quality set of Winter tires. Under normal driving, you might not notice that the back wheels aren't gripping. But if you brake suddenly when it's especially slippery, you'll notice. “If you have winter tires on the front wheels and hit the brakes, the back tires without the traction keeps going,” says Antonia Issa, spokesperson for the Rubber Association of Canada (RAC). “It's unsafe – most tire places will refuse to put on just two.” This includes rear wheel drive, All-wheel drive and 4x4 vehicles.

Absolutely not. We will put tires on anything that will fit our equipment. We have done 37” mud tires with bead balancing all the way to low profile 20” tires. We have access to all the quality name brand and speciality tires you trust. Chances are we can also get that custom alloy and tire package you have been looking for to make your vehicle truly yours. Basically, if it has 4 wheels you can bet we will be able to get what you need at some of the lowest prices in the area.

Do I really need 4 winter tires or can I use 2?

Do you only install tires and rims on Toyota, Scion products?
