Toyota’s longest-running nameplate, the Land Cruiser, was established with the Toyota-wide core values of quality, dependability and reliability. After arriving in North America in the late 50’s, the Land Cruiser evolved to become one of Toyota’s best-selling vehicles. Demand grew for larger station wagon models such as the 55 and 60 Series; the latter being the last generation sold in Canada.

35 years later, the Land Cruiser is on its way back to Canada on the global TNGA-F body-on-frame platform featuring high-strength steel and blanking/laser welds. In comparison to its outgoing American 200 series counterpart, this new ladder frame offers more rigidity in the chassis as well as a narrower and shorter build for more offroad prowess.

“The Land Cruiser is a global icon, synonymous with go-anywhere adventure - and we’re thrilled this legendary SUV is returning to the Toyota Canada lineup for 2024,” comments Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “The new Land Cruiser's heritage-inspired design is a nod to Toyota’s long history of building reliable, durable trucks able to conquer the most severe driving conditions. At the same time, this all-new model is a modern, fully capable SUV that’s ready to help Canadians create their own legendary Land Cruiser stories.”

The 2024 Land Cruiser will land in Canada in Spring of 2024 and Heffner Toyota is excited to welcome it. It will be available in three grades: Land Cruiser 1958, Land Cruiser, and the limited Land Cruiser First Edition.
